PROJECT OVERVIEW
EUTEKNÈ intends to meet the aims set by the 2019 Council Recommendation on high-quality ECEC providing support for the professionalization of staff and enhancing the development of early years’ curricula to nurture typically developing and Special Needs (SNs) children’s development.
EUTEKNȑs main aim is to equip teachers with innovative tools and operative guidelines grounded on evidence-based practices from developmental psychology and pedagogy, to sustain an informed use and couse of technology in ECEC.
EUTEKNÈ with a co-design approach will involve teachers, parents, and researchers in the development of tools to enhance ECEC quality. Using quali-quantitative methodologies (e.g., focus groups and interviews), the final users will be able to co-create and test the usability of a dynamic and open catalogue of technological tools, an innovative NFC technology to co-use with typically developing and SNs students and practical guidelines for teachers and parents on the informed use technology.
The results and outcomes expected to pursue the goals, are:

Creation of a theoretical framework (WP2) grounded on developmental psychology and pedagogy to guide the informed use of technology in ECEC

Production of a new educational NFC technology to promote a co-use of it with students

Creation of an open catalogue of technological tools (WP3) to sustain teachers in planning educational activities with typically developing and SNs children

Creation of practical guidelines (WP5) for parents and teachers on how to put in practice the tools.
